One of the things I'd like to do here, either in brief update or longer blog form, is book reviews. However, I'd like to wait to do my first one until I finish a book that a) was published less than five years ago and b) I actually like enough to give it a four- or five-star rating. (I have a bad habit of doing my lengthiest reviews of books I hate.) I've started reading a lot more in the past few years, ever since opening my Little Free Library, but I'm still kind of behind in my TBR pile. My older daughter gave me a reading journal for Christmas in 2022, and after I filled up the 100 book slots in there back in spring of this year, I've tried to carry on making notes about what I'm reading, though a little less formally.
