I've been playing with my documents and I figured it out: I can either have two short-story collections -- one with just the time-traveler stories, and the other with the rest of my short stories -- of roughly 115-125 pages each, or I can have one of roughly 230-250 pages. I think I might actually be okay with either of those options. The time-travel collection would probably be called Now and Then, Then Now, which is also the title of one of the stories. Of course it would require a new cover (there's always a catch).
The benefit of splitting it in two is that I could add more stories to both of them if I want, in the future, without either of them getting ridiculously long. Also, both books would be cheaper while they're shorter, both for me and for anybody else who might want to buy them in paperback.
Of course it's entirely possible that the only reason I'm even considering messing with either option is so I can avoid working on anything new. Which is naughty of me.
