Not usually a reader of YA novels, but this didn't read as if it was pitched 'down' to younger readers at all. Another intelligent, well-paced story that sets up more of the dystopian societies of Morstan and Karbegla. Calli is an engaging protagonist with an interesting development arc, which at this point could go several ways. Keen to read more of her story.
