The writing is going all right for a change, despite the whole same-plot-points-in-both-books thing. I had one of those Moments the other day. Harry was trying to contact Shane, and I thought the headache she got was from over-exertion. She said no, it was actually the physical-psychic connection thing (there must be a word for that) telling her that something bad had happened to him. A-ha! I said, or something to that effect, because that led to something much more interesting than what I had in mind before. Trust the characters; they know what happened to them more than I do.

 Meanwhile, Sharrec is still trying to talk Yvan into going back to Ocrisia. And I’m still trying to figure out where Abasi’s treachery will come in, and how long it’s going to be before the Secrets of Sharrec’s Past are revealed. Can’t rush these things, but I don’t want to wait too long.
