I had another weird-coincidence moment yesterday. There was an article in the paper about odd things that have been found in the Red River. It included a picture from the Herald archives showing a car being pulled from the river in 1994. And the tow-truck driver standing on the bank with a rope? Christ Naslund. I recognized the name in the caption, and thought “Is that – ?” Looked more closely at his face and, yep. That doesn’t happen every day, I must say. 40 years after graduation; 30 years after the picture was taken, and there it is.
So after nearly a week of lovely, thawing weather, it rained Tuesday night and snowed off and on almost all day yesterday. And we may get more today. So I’m going to shovel for my workout today, and may have to do more tomorrow. whee.
I made two pins and a bookmark yesterday (one chicken pin and chicken bookmark). Good day!
I shoveled snow for a solid hour just now, and my bg is . . . 168. How, I do not know. But supposedly it’s in range. Before breakfast it was 107. Somebody’s doing something wrong here.
And it’s snowing again.
